Description

Molten, chased, chiseled and engraved silver of exceptional desing and execution.
Circular base, baluster form body with rocaille decoration in relief and engraved representing flowers, architectonic motifs, scrolls, shell and others floral motifs; the spout of profuse chiseled decoration with serpentine frieze; bell-shaped cover with pierced finial representing urn with festoons; carved rosewood handle with chiseled silver terminals representing shell motifs.
Coimbra assay mark of Francisco de Assis Ferreira (reg.1789) (C-3) and I maker’s mark (unknown until now).
